They are no longer capable of the simplist things. One is HP and the other Lexmark. Why then isn't it written on the cover, like hey people, get rid of that old crap because we don't want to support you with new new software? Check This Out

Both my HP Scanjet 4850 AND HP Laserjet 2600n do not have Windows 7 drivers. Beware, it will not enable the ability to scan negatives/slides in the 64-bit version of Windows 7 (which I have) but apparently is fully functional in the 32-bit version.Guess I'll be If you want to save more time, or download more than one drivers, just use Driver Navigator to download and update all the HP drivers, fix your HP device problem. What a garbage piece this scanner is. I can get the scanner to work, but the software will not even instal, it calims I am not the adminstrator of my own computer!This is pathetic.
