Tried copying it as a know 'good' file, but Windows would not let me overwrite, nor would it let me delete for a straight copy in the windows/system32/drivers directory. The writeup in the article was a little different a I had a clean install with OEM software so there was no interaction with prior installed software, but the solution was I've also removed and reinserted the EIDE cables to assure a good connection when working inside machine, and removed the driver forcing Windows to re-setup on the next boot.After doing all
